I loved every word you have written here. It is so difficult to take a scene from nature and do it justice through wording and poetic prose. You have done so, with the amazing imagery that you use to draw in the reader. The small lake sleeps within its quiet banks. A rim of careening cars orbits blending their fluttering voices These three lines are my favourite for the imagery it employs. An all round excellent narrative of an extract from nature. I know how difficult it can be to write on nature, I too have written 1 poem about nature, do read it (Awake in the morning) . Thoroughly enjoyed this poem :)
