Crossing the Yellow River

The river slithers free,
A ribbon glazed in saffron silt,
Its waves unspool like candle wax.
The banks are dissolving in sugared smears,
Their rims a blur of weeping mackerel scales.
While carps and waterfowls with eyes of shattered clocks,
Churn abyssal depths,
Water fills a thousand urns.
Till scorching sun melts gold to stain beach scrolls,
Yellow clouds split mottled falls.

A deep ravine,
The tide entwines a banshee's cry with splintered bark.
Clutching time through drowning years at moment,
Reeds unfurl like widow's hands.
The waterfall's pot tips,
The dragon's mouth tightly binds.
The water spilling their ochre guts,
Earth and tide braid echoes into golden haze,
Staining shores in wild array now.

In the waves faint songs and cries of pity,
The iron ox sucks,
The inverted belly breaks.
The time sinks slow,
Half a game left at the riverside there.
The pinnacle cascade,
Wild hues madly cracked,
A glance scattered,
Wind shreds the mirror-face, awns like arrow heads.

沙携素帛，
暗幕浮烛。
熏渍光斑泪漉，
鳞沉碎表触目。
见跃鲤飞禽惊闪倏，
搅渊薮、
水满千斛。
待炙日熔金染滩幅，
黄云裂斑瀑。

深渎，
鬼铃絮语萦縠。
记万籁封存沉沙底，
影拂潮暗逐。
嗟瀑布壶倾，
龙口拴束。
赭流可掬，
暗涌蚩尤血，
鱼凫翻扑。

浪里依稀怜歌哭，
铁牛吮、
倒悬裂腹。
拜桥堕、
河边留半局。
昆仑泻、
野色狂皴，
瞥眼撒，
风撕镜面芒如镞。
