We have known each other for so long
You always treated me with sweetness and compassion
And now I found myself crossing the line of discretion
And I am not so sure you welcome the intrusion
I feel so idiotic yet ecstatic
If I could undo the kiss, I would
I don't want to be just a distraction
Of your quiet and perfect world
I found myself wanting to taste the wine
I just want to feel oh so sublime
Yet I know I have to tread oh so carefully
Because, I don't want to lose what I never have
Behold! Another revelatory gift to the public. Less creative, but no less interesting. GW62
