Crooked Times Poem by Majid Gaggi

Crooked Times

In our time what a humiliation
Why wonder and astonishment
The overt one is wicked
The outspoken is unacceptable
He is always rejected and shy
Not accepted by others
He is always cut and isolated
Unsupported and remains neglected
while the toady one is acceptable
He is acceptable and known
He never fall or wilt
What a matter of truth and virtue
And a crooked and diseased system
