Critics (Earn A Living)

it is hard to imagine how these folks
can earn a living by reading a single poem
and then labeling my writing as one genre
different writers have called me
a family poet
a political poet
a christian poet
a love poet
a nature poet
a confessional poet
a modern poet
a haiku destroyer
I love that last one
and find I may be
all those things while
being none of those
just label my grave
a poet
I am that and not
I am truly the imagination
of my self
