Criticism or correction
Does it come with love affection
Leading to a Godly connection
Pointing out ones evil defection

How do you receive this word
Afraid, only fear is heard
The heart reveals its own guilt
Channels of love filled with silt

Criticism one cannot hear
For the heart is insincere
Correction sure cannot be found
For the foundation is unsound

A surety of Love is sound
When its rooted on solid ground
Christ sits on the Temple throne
No other would or should condone

So if criticism you abhor
Into your heart please explore
For only One knocks at your door
"Let Me in" He does implore

He comes to correct your wayward step
You not He has surely slept
He awake, your soul has kept
His love just wants to cleanse, correct
