noone likes being criticised at the same time criticizes....we ignore our faults and focus on others coz we as human beings want to be told...faithlessly assume consciously or subconsciously 'i am the best...better than the rest'....insightful n shows your eminent understanding of ours' society....

True 'Nobody likes criticism'. Because we tend to take judging ones merits and or faults are personal attacts on ones beings.I would imagine how one accepts criticism is cultural as opposed to being universal phenomenon. I like the way your poem puts it: 'let the pros and cons of critcism plead.' I learned much from your poem as one can learn criticism. As usual, a good job, Amrit.

reader shall feel the truth about the poem and the words written. The truth of human nature sometimes can be so hurtful but with open mind, things should gone sood not bad. Smart, Wise....A poem to think together, yes i agree most of people are afraid of criticism.. u explain very well....in a simple way and it really work...but as the other told the criticism can be either destructive or constructive...but actually the destructive can change into constructive if we try to the concept of positive thinking..destructive criticism may be hurt people but it is better than pretending in front of us...But what u write is absolutely real and i believe this come through from your great observations...Love this poem...: D

I always welcome constructive criticisms. This is the best option to improve one. It depends on one's Maturity level. No one is right all the time. Isn't it?

As water wears off even the rocks at sea, your bad habits too will improve So criticism is something you shouldn’t miss. As a matter of fact, you should welcome it. And if your heart feels it is true, you should instantly admit it. very nice advice you give to the readers. you tell them to create a new attitude. then weigh the criticism well accept if it is true or simply shake it off. very very nice approach. your maturity in life is that we read out from your poems. thank you Rathi

Criticism, Can be so hurtful, yet constructive criticism can be guiding and helpful. It should not be a stumbling block, but a platform for examination. It is a type of disiplining, if you like. We should not allow criticsim to become an offence. But, yes, some criticim does hurt, especially when it is given out of malice. Well written.; D

criticism when rude it makes problems...when someone criticizes he has to be polite and caring not to make someone angry or sad... your poem is simply read and i like that...poets doesn't have to write with a difficult language to show they are skilled....i liked this poem very much though in the middle i felt i'm reading prosody more than poetry...but still it's great...keep writing. thanks for sharing

There are two criticisms one is constructive and the other one destructive.Be careful which to use. Destructive if you're not careful in your words you'll meet lot of enemies, while constructive is either you have more friends and less enemies. This poem only focused on the destructive criticism.

Dear Amrit, This poem is full of wisdom. You really master to put wisdom in poetry. The topic is very important, it has been throughout the ages. I remember reading Dale Carnegie on this and he was saying also what you convey. This bit of wisdom is so important, not only in the workplace but also at home, with our friends and in each and every situation. Thanks for sharing.

A fantastic composition on how to deal with criticism in our day-to-day lives. The opening lines strongly and simply state a harsh reality that we all face. Use of metaphors to illustrate why criticism is important makes this work a very interesting read. So if criticism is not genuine, just ignore it. Very well said. But not too many of us are fortunate enough to do this. We can all become better humans if we succeed in doing so which is what this composition aims at.
