Crippled Lives Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Crippled Lives

Rating: 5.0

He hit her in such moment
Of vulnerability
An episode of such stress
Triggered by PTSD

Her tears in swollen eyes
Reminding him of sniper
Mere child scared to death
Bawling as he wipes her out

She understands his pain
And suffering she tries
To be so courageous
With such a crippled life

He can't understand her love
It's been totally replaced
With such fear and damn rage
He prays for meeting in heaven

My heart goes out to those suffering with PTSD. Especially, soldiers fighting for democracy and freedom. I am honoured bt your most postive response, M.J. Sincerest thanks!
