Drowning in a sea of burning tears
All the pain bleeding through the years
Losing my grip on the hope in my heart
Slipping further and further into the dark

Will you be there when the lights go out
To keep my safe from the haunting memories
Caressed by the razorblade of my own doubt
Because its only the bloody tears that I see
Will you keep me from the shadows inside
Until the sun can come back around and rise
Every night I watch my dreams commit suicide
Because all my angels have left me here to die

I cant stop the bleeding of these tears
Salty drops that keep burning my eyes
My heart is growing colder the more we are apart
I cant stop these veins from crying out the years
The tunnel only has cold light from the other side
My soul just wants you to come and put it all to rest

Burning on a pyre made from your bed
Be my savior like a bullet to the head
Make all the pain inside of me just go away
When I'm slipping further and further into the gray

Will you be there when the lights go out
Will you keep me from the shadows inside
Cant you hear from the land of nod screaming loud
Into your arms is the haven where I need to hide
