I counted seven images or complexes of images in this poem, which makes it a purely poetic way of addressing a psychological crisis. I admire both your grasp of the workings of emotions and the sheer beauty of the imagery. This is a poem about mental angst but it does not sink into that angst. It is already rising above the tyranny of the emotions and summoning readers to a similar freedom of mind.

Most nights. I just appreciate the moon and the firmament for their intrinsic beauty and philosophical inspiration, but when my mood is heightened through current emotion, it seems echoed in the heavens, as this poem so cleverly points out
