Gone are the days of innocence,
When humanity was held in reverence,
Now, we're plagued with sorrow and grief,
As we witness crimes beyond belief.
Savage acts of violence and hate,
Against the innocent, we're too late,
To save them from the terror and pain,
That leaves their lives forever stained.
From wars and genocides, we've seen,
The darkest side of human beings,
Their thirst for power and control,
Leaves behind a shattered world.
The cries of the oppressed and weak,
Echo through the halls of bleak,
Their lives taken without a thought,
For them, justice is never sought.
Families torn apart, children left alone,
As their homes are destroyed, their future unknown,
Mothers weep, fathers mourn,
For the lives that will never be reborn.
Horrors that haunt us in our dreams,
Crimes against humanity, it seems,
No boundaries, no mercy, no remorse,
As this world descends into a dark force.
We mourn for the lives lost in vain,
For the world that will never be the same,
With heavy hearts and tearful eyes,
We bid farewell to those who died..
Oh, crimes against humanity,
How can we ever find serenity?
In a world so full of pain and strife,
Where darkness seems to swallow all light.
But we must never lose hope,
For in humanity, there's still scope,
To rise above these acts of inhumanity,
And build a world of love and unity.
So let us remember those we've lost,
And vow to never let their sacrifices exhaust,
For in our hearts, their memories will remain,
As we pray for a world free of pain..
