Crescent Moon Poem by Helen Crutchett

Crescent Moon

Night drapes black velvet
Hugging a crescent moon
Seductive shadows surrendering...

Chasing silky clouds
Colliding collages blend
Into dawn's dewy new page...

Sulky stars steal sulkily away
Yawning I awake to a festive
Autumn's soiree...

Remembering...

Spring's stitched selvedges
A sizzling hot summer's soiree
Dreading the dreary winter chill...
