Creepy Lament Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Creepy Lament

Full ghosts and hooded
Shrouds
They together
Went
I one long
Creepy lament.

Saurian fluttering
One against one
Hurtling:
On each hurtling
Blue clouds
Electric sparkling
A million gems of
Eastern beauty
Falling.

In the same
Time and age
The lament earthy
Of the
Ghosts
And
Shrouds
Arising
Arising
To the clouds:
The heavens adopted
That lament
Made it
One Voice
And great
And proud
And loud
And
Full
And
Majestic-sovereign:
And
All on earth
Startled
At the creepy
Voice now
Turned from heavens
Loudhailers.
