This poem is philosophical, theological and it provokes the reader to ask questions.? The good and the evil were perennial problems…….. from where does goodness come, from where does evil come………… we do not know. No religions gives a perfect answer. Ur poem made me think a lot……. My friend Robert is definitely taking the modern secular humanist view of things, and being raised and taught in this society I understand where he gets his principles. But I find your poem very moving: you were borrn into a religious context not a secular one, and you are wrestling with issues that are called FAITH and REASON in the West. I would never presume to lecture you on the rightness of the western ideology. My stance is one of humility before the ancient wisdom you carry as a birthright. Your poem which is carefully and admirably developed is proof you are actively engaged with the truth. I admire your sincere efforts. It's similar to what I try to do in my life too.
