Ha ha! ! ! ! Yes I saw it coming Tom .Well crafted, light and airy, and maybe a little scary- toothpaste for God sake It reminded me of the time I put salt instead of sugar into a pie Ugh I love your humorous poems Tom we poets can be way too serious sometimes

I submitted a rather long comment on this poem the other day, it never went through -So.......... Anyway this poem is delightfully zany. I enjoy poetic comic relief we poets can be way too serious sometimes. Thank you Tom You range from the sublime to the ridiculous and your poetry is a breath of fresh air. The rhyme is impressive.
Both messages arrived! My biggest culinary disaster was to put 15ml spoonfuls of Curry powder instead of 5ml spoonfuls. My daughter rang up the next day and my wife reported she was feeling ill and I was in bed with a tummy upset! Mind you, an old lady we knew somehow mistook daffodil bulbs for onions and put them in a stew. Her whole family were ill for a couple of days! I suppose mint flavoured toothpaste might be okay but I can't see that recipe creeping into many cookery books!
