'Crazy that I wrote a poem
starting to recite it
the rhythm left me to sit on the birds' beaks
the wind borrowed the rhyme
and I saw the syllables sparkling on the leaves as dewdrops
ding dong ding
Crazy that I composed a song
starting to sing it
I found it in nature's cradle
swaying in dark and gloom
swinging in light and bloom
and I listen to nature singing it well
Crazy that I wrote a novel
Its characters outgrew me
I found them everywhere
on warfront, in the paddy field
in the sky, and out in the spac e
debating on gender issues
diving in the ocean of emotions
and in search of humanity
Crazy, that was a story from me
a slice of life inside that
it took two legs and walked
straight into human mind
to come out with...
Crazy was I for a love song too...
found me lost in that
searched everywhere
for a glimpse of me
found me in the lovers' grip at last
crazy that it carried me away
and then and then and then
a lullaby happened to me
and that was not crazy at all
on the edge of crying too'
