Susan said, 'I ain't gonna be Wilson's cow.
Never! At least not now.
But who knows when the time comes
Perhaps I'll change my mind, some.
Cause being a cow isn't all that bad.
Place to live and of course be fed.
A place respected in society.
No reason for any showing of pity.'
Of course a cow has to provide
Privileges on the side,
Which the new owner
Can at his time and place, plunder.
It's a balance of pro and con
And Susan made the choice as a woman
Taking the way out for the rest of her life
Living alone, not as a wife.
Susan, now old and spent
Would like to repent,
But Wilson's found a new bovine for his pen
And has no interest in what might have been.
(A true story.)
