Easy to get carried away in such a case... Why call it doggerel (such an ugly word!) when you could have labeled it couplet? It really is a series of couplets. In fact, why bother labeling the form at all? Listing the form is not required, you know. I seldom bother to fill it in, because laziness is my best quality.
you are quite correct I think it is a couplet and I shall re=label it. I like to let the limerick people know as it is my hope to popularize it more.
