Your poem makes as persuasive a case for that particular pride called PATRIOTISM as I can imagine. It's really a vexed question. No matter how many things you list, your list will never be complete - there's always some fact lurking in the back of someone's mind, or a history book, or the Congressional Records, something which will disrupt the list.
