Cost Poem by Phil Daniels

Cost

Come what may
Will you follow what Jesus say
Ambassadors of His, not mystical
Risen man from the fall

Of what did they count the most
The twelve did surely boast
Spiritual matters were a fact
And upon these they did act

So as we look back in The book
We see those who died, forsook
Esau who threw it all away
But Jacob saw his Penuel day

Today as you reflect your past
Will you be first or be last
Are you one eternal lost
Have you measured out the cost
