I got my sense and purpose
When you became my consciousness.
I was overpowered-
By the kind streams of energy
Manifesting through a cherished dream.
At this twilight hours
Of my life-
I don't see many faces
I had encountered though
During a long journey that I undertook,
Still I'm not baffled to see you missing
And your loving voice.
In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple
I felt as if the holy mother
Cuddled me-
Like you always used to do
Whenever I would meet
At the hush of home
After several days separation.
You are not here
as flesh once was.
I do not know
if you drift elsewhere
in the vast weave of stars.
Still,
your absence hums
inside my chest.
You surround me.
I am held.
I am safe.
