Corsair - Κουρσάρος Poem by Kostas Lagos

Corsair - Κουρσάρος

Rating: 5.0

It is easy to take life slowly

in a place where everything

is moving full speed

What can you do when living

in the house of delay?

Like the ancient mariner

I roam the land

telling a story that

no one asks to listen

A night owl I am

bringing news of discomfort

A herald of the sun eclipse

A corsair of dreams

Εύκολο να ζεις αργά

εκεί που τα πάντα

γρήγορα κινούνται

Μα τι κάνεις σαν βρίσκεσαι

στης αργοποριάς τον οίκο;

When our mind is a standstill, dreams come profusely. A poem of great depth. Thought provoking. Brilliantly penned.

A deep and profound poem, I sense a bottomless rift and doubts, a questioning soul in a house of delay, a harbinger of a story few want to listen to today, a corsair who robs people of happier dreams. Deeper than deep! 10+

Hard to keep up with this fast and nonsensical world but I'd rather follow you, Nigh Owl and all, Than all the useless social media, Down, False Darkness, hall And last, but very prominently so, you announce the " bad news" so poetically, charmingly and originally, that we love following your poetry with the beautiful feel and genius of Ancient Greece.

An enchanting poem, in the house of delay..one has vision of discomforting news where dreams become reality, at least that’s my take....fascinating poem! ! !
