Cornwell Boats Poem by james watkin

Cornwell Boats

In listening distance to an inn
Shakes for their fisher-handlers
Quitted boats rock on each other's
Waves of revelling.

Whose is a Cornwall-facing sea
After all! Delusive assailed
Of those legends, mermaid-tailed
Upflap; as moony, sheeny.
