Coral Snake Poem by Kostas Lagos

Coral Snake

Rating: 5.0

Untie the celtic knot

Grasp the sands of time

Feel the power of the

butterfly's wings

The coral snake is

biting

with its venomous bite

A dragonfly flies

upon the cold lake's water

Life is at its peak

Death lurks in the bushes

In this world of duality, black and white, life and death we can't change and must accept. Your poem paints a vivid picture of this earthly reality and duality. Well penned.

When black is before red, the victim is dead thus the difference between the coral snake and the scarlet king snake...what a cool poem Kostas, your meter is absolutely superb....to my favorites! ! ! This is a great piece of poetry! ! !
