Conversations Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Conversations

Rating: 5.0

Conversations

They did not start when i was born
Will not end when i am gone.
Encoded in mitochondria
Manifesting in assertiveness or hypochondria
On the day of birth
Screaming as midwife smacked my girth
Soon my googoo gaga
Turning to mama dada
Conversations
A life of conversations
With teachers
Cheaters
With wife
For life
Conversations about conservation
Life and death
The earth
The cosmos causing more
So much we don't know
Even as i am silent
Wondering at the science
There are many discourses
In my mind of course
And when i die
I won't lie
I expect heavenly interviews
And hopefully rave reviews
If not
It's gonna be very hot.
