Control Lost Poem by Jayne Doe

Control Lost

Rating: 5.0

Sleeping, it was
Nothing to fear
Though when it woke
Its presence was clear
It pushed and it pulled
And boy was it clever
Making me do
Things I would never
"It's not me" I'd say
And wait for the day
When the damage it brought
Would be on its way
But it stayed and stayed
It just wouldn't leave
Cuz the damage it brought
Was now the new me
Doing whatever
It was it would choose
Nothing to gain
So much to lose
I wanted to change
Trust me, I did
But I couldn't win
So I simply gave in

Isn't that funny?
I think it so
That I wasn't quite gone
Until I let go
