hey, daniel! you have embodied contentment in this poem. i relate. a portion of proverbs 5 comes to mind, meant to warn men against adultery—why would you trade enduring intimacies for cheap thrills with a? for dalliance with a promiscuous stranger? indeed. one builds a shared life with shared memories and an intimacy which only commitment and years can bring. and what better response than thank you. -glen
