John thank you for voicing this important issue - - as caretakers of this earth we have failed miserably, therefore need urgent reminders and wake-up calls such as this - - 10 + + + Fay

A very, very, very important abecedarian! It shows that it is possible to write poetry (in rhyme!) on urgent issues, issues noone of us can escape in the long run. Your inventiveness seems endless, John! Thank you!

Your poem induces both fear and guilt as man is solely responsible for this situation you clearly portray in your verses. Forests are rapidly disappearing, rivers once perennial are drying out...pollution, disasters, diseases, scarcity of resources..... 'QUESTIONS asked - but are there answers? NONE! ' I guess we are done for, if we dont act immediately....or like aristotle once said, 'This world is finished....'
