Conned By Death Poem by Sarah Mkhonza

Conned By Death

Like a conman this death,
moves silently one night,
takes a sack and heads on,
to take to the storehouse,
where we never knock, but
are let in anyway. For pets
this riddle is solved when
the last step is taken by
the last person not listening
to the walkman for that wisdom
will require a friend.
