The light of this world is simmering
The shine in our eyes has dimmed
The gleam in our hearts has darkened

For what?
Social media and acceptance?
Likes and photos of dishonesty?
We've lost sight of equality
And replaced it with identity

For instance;
The world is in shambles
As we scramble to find ourselves
We've misplaced the truth in our souls
What makes us whole

For peace;
We all have a place in this society
Find your serenity
There is no normality
In unity
