Conjecture & Doubt Poem by Dean Meredith

Conjecture & Doubt

Sure I was full of it
And had to get it out
As to what it is or was
There is conjecture & doubt

She walked in the limelight
She walked soft and proud
I walked in the shadows
Smoothly dragging my shroud

She walked like a dream
She was not very loud
We showed so much promise
All those thoughts we had vowed

She walked like an angel
She walked right on out
As to what it is or was
There is conjecture & doubt

She walked through the shadows
She walked right on out
So much conjecture & doubt

She walked through my shadows
She walked right on out
Too much conjecture & doubt
