Life at times
Can be a puzzle
Sometimes problems
Just seem to double

Sometimes solutions
Are hard to find
Sometimes you feel
You've lost your mind

At times you'll need
A helping hand
Someone to steady you
As you stand

Asking someone for help
Remember, its no disgrace
Because it may take a friend
To help you find your place

There was a time or two
When I was down and out
It was at those low points
I learned what a friend was all about

For you will see in good times
Friends are always there
When the going gets real tough
That's when true friends show they care
