Confession Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Confession

Not just love and skies of blue,
Or broken hearts, so sad and true.
My words dig deeper, find the ground,
Where real life's lessons can be found.

A seed of fact, a history's thread,
A map of Earth inside my head.
The mountains rise, the rivers flow,
In rhyming lines, the stories grow.

Like ancient songs, that held the key,
To laws and lore, for all to see.
So too, my poems try to teach,
Beyond the sun, beyond the beach.

A thunderstorm's electric might,
A fossil's tale in fading light.
Not just feelings, light and free,
But knowledge bound for you and me.

Didactic verses, old and wise,
To open minds, and open eyes.
The world unfolds, a vibrant scene,
In poems born from what has been.

The earth, the rocks, the flowing stream,
A history whispers in a dream.
Geography's map, a living guide,
Where knowledge flows, my thoughts reside.

The thunder booms, the lightning flares,
Physics dances in the air.
No simple song of sun above,
But facts and wonder, wrapped with love.

Well written verse, a guiding hand,
To understand this vibrant land.
Each line a seed, to plant and grow,
A learning path for all to know.

So let the rhymes and rhythm ring,
Of ancient laws and everything.
My mind unbound, my spirit free,
Poetry's truth, for you and me.
