Concept Of We
If it is meant to be, then let it be.
I let go to see if it would come back to me.
If it's truly yours, then set it free.
No 'ifs, ' 'buts, ' or even 'maybes.'
You can choose to disagree,
But it won't fill your heart with glee.
The signs are there for you to see;
You don't have to listen to me.
This advice comes without a fee.
Don't clutter your heart with debris.
They say good things come in threes.
In love, we are all refugees.
Only your hair should be teased.
Set your mind at ease.
You can't always do as you please;
Not everyone can be appeased.
You cannot squeeze blood from a stone;
To life, you have been given the keys,
Just like the birds and the bees.
Seize the nectar of life.
A foulness can be carried, by the breeze;
Not only in winter do things freeze.
You may feel a nasty sneeze.
Beware of canines filled with flies.
Grapes from the vine are for you to retrieve.
If you don't like it, you can always leave.
If you've lost, it's okay to grieve;
Some may practice what you deceive.
You must give to be able to receive;
Bold concepts are for the hesitant to conceive.
To conquer, you must first believe;
The storm always passes, granting a reprieve.
Treasure only good memories;
This world can be filled with enemies.
I can't live your life on your knees,
So get to work and roll up your sleeves.
