Concealment Poem by Pondering Portrait

Concealment

Crisp and unshaken
Carefully untouched
Fortunately permitting
A guarded oblivion

A mere utter
And a single breath
Was all it’d take
To blow it into ruins

Any fixated glance
Or sudden recollections
Seemed to initiate a tremor
A grip of the utmost fear

A longing silence
To shatter such turmoil
Only a stillness, nothingness
Could conceal forever
