on first reading, daniel, " defiant happy ending" stands out to me. yes! i think. against skepticism, against despair, love had the last word. -glen
Thank you, Bernard, for pointing out the craft of my poem. When we write, we are often alone wrestling with words and meanings, but that's what poets are meant to do - to express some truth as powerfully as we can. To have this craft acknowledged by a reader is truly rewarding. THANKS MUCH
