Complicated Poem by Lovely Enchantress

Complicated

We danced that night.
I danced like a seductive snake, drawing you in.
I wanted to become your hypnotic drug.
One you would never forget.

Stained my lipstick on your cup.
I wasn't going to neglect your feelings again.
You whispered sweet little nothings in my ear.

The first kiss you gave me hurt, it was a good hurt.
One I'd never forget.
We enchanted eachother under a beautiful spell.

Later that night we became as one.
We fell into a dark starry abyss.
I fed your need and fed the beast in you.
Let me burn away those thorns.
That moment we let go of anger and hurt.
We let ourselves be vulnerable to let our souls touch.
Set a flame to raw passion, I have no regret.
You laid your head upon my chest.
Did you hear the ice melt away from my heart?
Did you hear it beat for you?
It was always complicated.
