Life is a play, fate the playwright,
For no role can any one fight.
One has to know in the pavillion,
Joy is a pal and grief a companion.
One may dream dreams glamorous,
Acts to realize them becomes humorous.
Worthy face agonies in place of glories,
And inept are garlanded with victories.
Wisdom may be poisonous, cunning a potion.
Truth may be faded before false emotions.
Justice may be dipped in injustices,
Virtues may get overpowered by vices.
One may find beauty in every thing
To make bearable one's life's innings.

One's life's innings. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Great write packed with wisdom and the truth laid bare, life can be cruel and sometimes kind there is a smokescreen always to hide the truth that life is just a big uncertainty! Very insightful write and thanks for sharing!
In the pavillion of life we see wrongs people do and the games they play. Truth, yet, survives and the joy of life is treasured by those who see the beauty of it. Thank you so much for the wisdom in the poem.
