Thank you for this very profound and theological poem. I always found Holy Communion a very challenging topic in church. It contains anything of the sadness and joy of being human, as you say. Your poem makes communion to a very clear and life-affirming issue, I think.

Thanks Shaun. I'm really pleased with this one. I like to write religious themed poetry. Indeed, I'm now a regular contributor to the Northern Cross magazine which serves the diocese of the North East.
