Truly, passing of every second takes us close to death.A good presentation indeed.
Death is an unwelcome and uninvited guest, dare we even call him a guest? As we age, death comes closer, waiting for his moment to snatch our lives from us. There is no way of stopping his progress, when he comes there is no way to fight him or say no. All of us will succumb to his presence in the end. Death is life's ultimate truth. An excellent portrayal of our final companion, Amitava, as he takes us away from those we love in life. Thank you for sharing this poem, Amitava. You may have a 10 +. RoseAnn
Death is a sure guest! Whether we welcome him or not is never a matter of concern for him! When his time is due, he will surely come and no force on Earth can stop him! A poem asserting the unquestioned truth of life!

And so I will confront death unprepared. Hamlet says about death, THE READINESS IS ALL. He was right, and you are right to warn us.
