Committed Eyes
One reflection exists, withinthe confines, of this particular iris,
Only one image, one consideration, one person overly precious,
Your anger, a misconception, I would neverconsider another allurement,
Sadly misplaced, blinded to fact, no faith in yourself or mycommitment,

Staring blindly, holding hands with the wind, all this devotion I hold only for you,
Laughing loudly,brushing close to the sun, all this devotion will carry me through,
Crying silently, dancing in the dark, all my devotion you seemingly wish to doubt,
Waiting patiently, whispering to the moon, one day you'll knowI am truly devout,

Hopelessly lost, no other contends, yet I will never stand in your way,
I see no other, blinkers in motion, regardless of those words that you say,
A one man woman, is who I choose to be, perhaps someday you'll understand me,
No white lies, in love ornot, it's plainly simple for everyone that wishes to see,
