I was writing from the viewpoint you mentioned and never considered that there was another way to read it! Thank you for waking me up! ! ! I am so pleased you liked it cuz I have to admit I was a little tickled with how it turned out! ! !
Brilliant, Susan! There is a difference in meaning- -depending on whether or not I read the first line blending directly into the second. To my favourites...and a perfect 10!

I think your comment about this thing jumps around might be referencing the way the site jumps around- I found that if you uncheck the autoplay box under the poem- the jumping around ceases

Brief and beautiful....! This is the core of compassion! Share our belongings with the less fortunate! When we do so, we are entering into a covenant with God! A sure 10 for this tiny gem!
