It's all bee said David, this is truly an amazing Christmas story, I thoroughly enjoyed the read. Thank you David for writing this wonderful story. --Melvina--
David, i am sad, and at the same time happy for the mother because even in the death of her son, he still fulfil his promise to be with them if only for a short time. sometimes, we celebrate christmas so we can be united with our families, not remembering that Jesus was the main reason for the celebration. And i was given the strong message that inspite of what happen to our family, i will still celebrate Christmas, because it is the birthday of our Savoiur. This is a very wonderful piece of yours David..and you did justice in portraying a love of a mother, and a love of a son to a mother..The mother's love that cannot be measured, unfathomable, deep and timeless..Thank you David for the honor of reading this. your special friend, Meggie
A very lovely poem, David. I wish you had included a poet's note to tell us if indeed this really happened. Enjoyed reading it very much, and congratulations on having it selected as poem of the day.
