Comfort For Sadness Poem by Gio Masserati

Comfort For Sadness

Please bring comfort my friend

Sadness, will you ever end?

Trusting tears that speak of Grace

Cascading down my cheeks and face

Hope is drifting in wth the tide

Drying every wetted eye

Consoling arms to nestle in

Holy Spirit moving harmoniously

Bringing the comforter of sadness

For all of us and our friends

Who need solace from the madness

...and a soft shoulder to cry on
Once in a while or forever and a day
