There are nine fools on this page alone who have no idea how to interpret a poem.

Is there a more foolish poem than this! Every policeman dealing with a suicide is told to point out the blue sky and that God is love. If I were in the desperate state of this man, and Service came to me with this nonsense, I would be perfectly in my right to knock him on the head and steal his purse. People in despair need real help not daft anodyne wishy-washy sentiments. The Good Samaritan gave real practical help to the mugging victim in the parable.

Or, as the great Eric Idle put it... 'always look on the bright side of life...'! Great poem, full of positivity and perspective. Regardless of individual faith or beliefs, the message in this poem is still very relevant today.

First stanza attracts loudly but after that it flows with the conventional way of projecting universal life where a singular is also tied hard with the same thread. Truth has been uttered freely.

the poem is much of an inspiring poem...... im not a believer but i know that religion is really important in human life..... one of the very role of religion is that it teaches about righteousness; without religion, won't care no more if they hurt another....... secondly, religion provides hope.......just like this poem.... religion was my basis to become a good person that i can....i don't want to say that religion is useless, because it is not, but i think being obsessed to these Gods and supernatural creatures is foolishness... just pick up the lessons of every religion but don't ever be obsessed to their Gods.......because they're impossible....

I'm afraid nature comes a poor second to a job that allows you to appreciate it.
