Thank you Deepakji, Mr Marvin and Valsa madam for your comments. Our supplications are to the concept of 'God' but I assert here the probability of that hypothetical omnipresence being irrelevantly present if at all by chance it exists. I want to answer each of your arguments pointing out the superfluous superiority of the arguments in support of spiritual well being built on imaginary lines from times man made God! . 1. You are referring to omnipotence... I think there can never be beings / things that are omniscient, omnipotent or omnipresent. These terms are illogical and we human beings who will form less than 000012% of the total living organisms present on the earth are toying with such ideas which are magical and irrational. But the practice being that many would like to think they are 'all correct', a brutal majority of us think cannot think otherwise. 2.You refer to 'spiritual well being' being equal to or even being more important than physical well being.. If all are physically well off in an approximately uniform manner, one can buy your argument. The nonsense is either you or I can first have physical well being and at the end can even opt for the elevation to the spiritual well being whereas many millions will have to compromise with the absolute deprivation of physical well being in the material world and then they have to wait for the spiritual well being after death.In a world of equality all ought to benefit from the well being they are entitled to have and given to then unasked for. A Somalian must lead a miserable life till death and then should enter the heaven for eternity whereas Valsa George and Dinesh Nair can have both is ridiculous and amounts to no justice. 3.Those who call upon God are not blind. The happy beggar who sleeps for want of concerns and the sleepless rich man who turns insomniac for the excesses of his amassed wealth are not supposed to be the graphic designs of a God to drive this point home. There is no guarantee that by wiping out poverty and want we can solve all the problems on the earth. In this scenario your God might be blundering by allowing the co existence of vices and virtues. 4. What is God`s grace? He/she/it could have directly gone for abundant display of it by creating eternity for all from the very alpha and why all this humbug of testing the haves and have nots on different platters and why all these dramatic phases of allowing materialistic pursuits and La Vegas and hunger and suffering of Sudan and Sambalpur for a child`s fancy? Is that power that insane or regardless of things. May we ponder over things pertaining to a global problem and not an individual crisis. We are all here... we think and so we are... We eat and drink and so we write too. They cannot eat and drink and they cannot wage this war of words over this PH.. Thank you.

Hmmm..... Hats off Dinesh..... for this amazing talent... instantaneous and off hand! Though the poems express thoughts in the opposite directions and their tone antithetical, they both converge on the same point.... both are supplications to God accepting His omnipotence! ! While mine asking for inner and spiritual edification, yours for physical and material well being! Though physical well being is certainly the basic and primary need, spiritual well being is perhaps equally or more important...! Don't think that one who calls God is blind to the misery around! Haven't you seen beggars with empty or half filled stomachs blissfully sleeping on the pavement while a rich man, overfed on his cosy bed turning this side and that side unable to wink an eye lid. Do you feel that if poverty and want are wiped out from the face of the Earth, all our problems will end? Then greater problems in the form of greed, jealousy and hatred will show up with greater venom like poisonous serpents! God's grace alone can douse the heat arising from man's wild passions!
