Hi Rachel I used this poem in a Shakespeare class I guest taught for his 450th birth anniversary. I read and discussed four of his sonnets first which express very negative views of TIME - It ages us, destroys our beauty, yada, yada. Then we read your poem with its exciting positive journey through time, and its appreciation of Time's mystery. They loved what you wrote. Several asked to keep their copies of it, but no one asked to keep W.S.'s sonnets! It was the perfect way to close the class. You can be proud of your poem.
certainly, it is not nonsense...but a work that has the power to transport the reader into some other unseen world! ! !
Life, time and science...all at one go! We individuals polar apart and the great scientist Einstein are here.. Life is a journey and time is the parameter for its length as space and time often go entwined in our journey. You have, Rachel told many a thing in a vivid manner and have answered most of the queries yourself. Both you Sunprincess and Ms Valsa George have been overtaking each other perhaps!
What a wonderful treatise on Time, Sunprincess! ! ..... While travelling with you as requested, at what point did you overtake me? I am lagging behind and you are nowhere in sight! ! A 10 comes flying to reach you!
, , , the light of the stars that comes to us takes a lot of time to reach earth.. that means the star which we see are how they were thousands of years ago, , they might never exist today but still we see them, , if were at the stars place we could see the past of earth, , ,
I must agree with Daniel. Be very very proud of this wonderful write! And what an honor to have it read by a class of eager minds! A truly enjoyable read and written so well! Didn't want it to end!
