Thanks Ernestine and Sally, this poem was a result of visiting Avebury Stone Circle on my birthday this year, just after sun up, there were early May morning mists and the whole place was magical, it had a very lasting effect on me and has to be one of the Special places for me in this world. I have set this one to a tune I wrote, for the harp, which I strangely enough named 'Avebury! ' regards, Lucy
This is fantastic Lucy, I've loved every stanza, and it has such a super rhythm I was singing at the end. Smashing! ! ! Sincerely Ernestine.
