Feels like you've been down to that beach watching the breakers, drowning in the ozone and breeze, the poem was so fresh. Particularly loved the lines: Lust gently cradles reason, then snaps it's neck We have a lady across the road that keeps rabbits and chickens for the pot and she says she always cradles and comforts the animal before... It is an interesting parallel to draw, such is the overwhelming power of passion. You write with an economy yet have the knack of being able to paint very big canvases: some skill! sad but beautifully written plead of a breatheless heart...the stanza commencing 'pinned upon...' is exceptionally touching...glorious 10/10
