Irony penned with a medical eye. A clever poem about bureaucracy and politics, you nail your point beautifully in the final line. Interesting how these days the medical profession is referred to as the medical industry. An apt title - considering how much doctoring is lost in the striving for funding. Clever parody. Dear Satya Narayana A good satire with right thought and punch.. well done. Greetings Satheesan rangorath
very nice and touchy as well as thought provoking piece. thanks for sharing.
a thought provoking mentally disturbing write on the deplorable conditions of treatment
the analogy used is remakable as the so called architect of our country dealt with it like an insensitive professional would-trying to gain kudos for themselves without the forsight for long term gains and losses! ur riposte aginst the cost we are paying for unscrupolous development is an eyeopener. ful 10+++++++
This is an entertaining but thought provoking short story indeed Sathya....... a great satire...well i see your friend Chatterjee has criticized it...but these things still happen..how ever bitter it is they do.....it may not necessarily be a organ bank..but even in so called hi tech hospitals such a thing can happen.... the fact of the matter is they take necessary precautions so that no one will see their faults.....True we are developing...yet it still does happen...for instance do you know how many case were found where people get infected with various disease after donating blood, due to unhygienic syringes? well written too...10++
Hmmmm.....hmmmmmm.....very pessimistic...I think we're doing better than before in many areas....no doubt there are problems as well....but organ banks? ? True, if you refer to organ banks...but what's the anology here? ? Cheers. Subroto
Sad. You have written it well. Here, I recollect a film called 'Coma'. Looks like similar stroy. Great job. Enjoyed it.
enjoyed the story similar to ' Coma' of Robin Cook directed by Michael Crichton.; you are a real artist
A Good poem reflecting the sad reality of modern times.............Indeed the politics is the last refuge of scoundrels............A Good satire........
a well presented short story...a person in coma most of them never regain consciousness due to brain damage..you implied it at the end with the organ donor building...well done....
sathya sir....a very well written satire that hits you deep..I loved every bit of it......excellent...10+
